Last year the old shelter at the Rec Field, which had become a victim of erosion and age, was taken down with the help of a number of volunteers. This past Wednesday another band of dedicated people went about the task of reclaiming the area for public use with the planting of a number of trees.
It is impossible to express the importance of people taking the time to help the community with no reward save the knowledge that they have helped to make Plainfield a better place.
A special thanks to the Resiliency Committee, The Selectboard, The Friends of the Winooski, Twinfield Student Volunteers, The Twinfield Mentoring Program and all the residents who came out to help.
